Footnotes The project is part of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)’s regional project on “Preventing Violent Extremism through promoting tolerance and respect for diversity” funded by the European Union. Implemented under UNDP Sri Lanka’s flagship portfolio on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, the project seeks to mobilize young people across the country, in building social cohesion, combatting hate speech, promoting freedom of religion or belief (FoRB) and building resilience to violent extremism through the use of innovative digital tools.
